We Always Look for Ways to Educate People About Disaster Preparedness

Since the inception of C.A.R.E. for Paws, we have attended pet expos, participated in walks to benefit shelter animals and hosted an open house at Countrycare Animal Complex to raise awareness about our program.

At each event, we explain the need for pet owners to plan ahead in case disaster strikes. We also distribute window stickers to alert first responders that pets are inside peoples’ homes.

What People
Have Said

"Sophie received excellent treatment, love and care for a foreign body removal surgery at Countrycare.  I thought when I took her back to get her stitches out she might not want to go but she ran right in and was happy to see everyone. I can't say enough to express my gratitude to Dr. Barr, Dr. Strickfaden and the staff at Countrycare for saving Sophie's life.  Every day we watch her run around and play and are so grateful she is still with us."
