We always look for ways to educate people about disaster preparedness.
Out in the community
Planning ahead, before disaster strikes
Since the inception of C.A.R.E. for Paws, we have attended pet expos, participated in walks to benefit shelter animals and hosted an open house at Countrycare Animal Complex to raise awareness about our program.
At each event, we explain the need for pet owners to plan ahead in case disaster strikes. We also distribute window stickers to alert first responders that pets are inside peoples’ homes.
