How we fund it
Paw prints, raffles and matched gifts
To date, all of our funding has come from generous clients of Countrycare Animal Complex who see the need for this type of disaster planning and response program.
Once a year, Countrycare holds a fundraiser for the C.A.R.E. program. When individuals donate to C.A.R.E. for Paws, they write their names or their pets’ names on paw prints that get posted in our lobby. Excitement for the program grows as paw prints fill the lobby. On occasion, we also create pet-themed raffle baskets for our fundraising efforts. Proceeds from the raffles also benefit C.A.R.E. for Paws.
