Pets have emotions too!

As humans, we sometimes forget that animals have emotions and moods just like we do.

Each animal has his or her own personality and temperament. They react to people, animals, environment, and situations with a diverse range of emotions. These include joy, affection, pain, anger, fear, jealousy, depression, grief, and shame.

Animals undergo stress in their daily lives, also. A few examples include visitors to the house, trips to the vet or groomer, new additions to the family, or just being left behind when everyone goes to work or school.

An animal's behavior may be an indication that they are experiencing difficulty with their surroundings or a physical illness. Their behavior may be self-destructive, fearful or aggressive. Traditional treatment often includes tranquilizers or anti-depressants, or worse yet, the emotional state and behavior are ignored or punished.

Countrycare Animal Complex's philosophy of complete care includes addressing the emotional and mental needs of your animal, not just the physical needs.

We offer natural Flower Essence Remedies to help with your animal's general disposition, moods, and emotions naturally. Remember that the mental and emotional state in animals (& people) can be a primary cause of sickness and disease.

What are Flower Essences?

Essences are a gentle and subtle means of restoring peace of mind and thus, allowing the body a chance to regain its strength and ability to combat ill-health through its own natural healing process.

Flower essences are homeopathically prepared from the flowers of non-poisonous plants, bushes and trees. There are several hundred flower essences each helping with specific mental and emotional states.

Are they safe?

Flower essences are natural and will not interfere with any other form of treatment or medication.

The appropriate combination of essences must be chosen in order to achieve results. We use a questionnaire to help us understand your animal's emotional, behavioral and physical state.

A consultation appointment with you and your animal allows us to discuss your situation to guide us in determining the appropriate formula. You can fill out our behavioral questionnaire and bring it with you to your appointment.
